TERMS AND CONDITIONS


01. TJ Chauffeurs Ltd. are a licensed private hire vehicle operator. We only accept booking requests for our chauffeur- driven travel directly from our customers / clients. We will provide a ‘Booking Confirmation’. Our chauffeurs are not licensed to accept a booking request. 02. The contract for all bookings is between the customer / client or the person booking and paying for the transport service and TJ Chauffeurs Ltd. TJ Chauffeurs Ltd. only accept payments directly. Our chauffeurs never collect fares.

03. The Company reserves the right to refuse a Private Hire Booking request or withdraw a Transportation Service. All bookings are subject to availability.

04. All prices are subject to VAT charged at 20%.

05. All payments are due in full before any bookings are undertaken.

06. TJ Chauffeurs accept most Credit or Debit cards. BACS transfers must be received before any bookings are undertaken.

07. Any deviations to the original booking price, such as additional waiting time, extra hours, car parking will be charged extra after the hire is completed. The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as TJ Chauffeurs Ltd.

08. All hire charges start from and finish at Hyde Park Corner.

09. The minimum as directed hire is 4 hours.

10. Excess time will be charged at the prevailing hourly rate.

11. Our airport set rates include a 60 minute waiting time at the airport from the time the flight has landed. Waiting time charges will be incurred after the 60 minutes has elapsed and be charged per 15 minutes at the relevant hourly rate. Incurred car parking fees will be charged at cost.

12. For non-airport and train station bookings waiting time will be charged 20 minutes after the confirmed booking time.

13. All hire charges are round it up to the nearest 30 minutes.

14. Drivers gratuities are not included.

15. TJ Chauffeurs accepts no responsibility for any loss, or damage to any property or luggage carried in the car.

16. Journey times cannot be guaranteed and the company will not accept liability for delay caused by traffic accidents, road diversions, weather or other causes outside the company’s control.

17. Any damage to the vehicle interior or exterior caused by the client will be charged accordingly.

18. Account customers – invoices to be paid with 21 days from invoice issue.

19. Cancellations – If a booking is cancelled by the Customer more than 24 hours from the start the period of hire, all monies paid will be refundable. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer less than 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer less than 12 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable. If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pick up point, all monies paid will be non-refundable.

20. If it is necessary for our chauffeurs to have overnight accommodation, the hotel cost will be charged to the client with additional charge of £100.00 + VAT for the drivers sustenance allowance.

21. Surcharges – + 100% will be added to the agreed tariff for services provided on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve from 17.00 hrs. to 6.00. + 50% will be added to the tariff on New Year’s Day from 6.01 to 00.00 and for services provided between 17.00 – 00.00 on Christmas Eve and all day on Boxing Day.
There are no surcharges on any other bank holiday.

22. In the event a passenger has an excess of baggage ‘the Company’ reserves the right to refuse any luggage or property in the car which in our opinion would result in the vehicle being damaged or unsafe to drive on the road.

23. TJ Chauffeurs prohibit any person other than the company’s chauffeurs to drive the hired vehicle.

24. Complaints should be made within 72 hours of journey completion.
